CeNS Colloquium: Prof. Michael Saliba Visits LMU Munich

Ugur Research Lab was delighted to welcome Prof. Michael Saliba from the University of Stuttgart and Forschungszentrum Jülich to LMU Munich. The seminar was co-hosted by Dr. Esma Ugur and Dr. Erkan Aydın. This seminar was organized in special collaboration with the CeNS Colloquium and the LMU Faculty of Physics .

Prof. Saliba delivered an inspiring talk entitled “The Versatility of Perovskite Materials for Optoelectronics”, highlighting recent advances in perovskite materials and their applications in emerging optoelectronic and photovoltaic technologies. He discussed key developments in perovskite solar cells, including advanced multicomponent material systems, strategies to improve stability and reproducibility, and approaches to optimize crystallization and interface properties for enhanced device performance.

The visit provided an excellent opportunity for scientific exchange and discussion with researchers working on next-generation photovoltaic technologies. We sincerely thank Prof. Saliba for sharing his insights and for an inspiring interaction with our research community.
